I’ve been looking for a good pair of walking shoes. I tried these but found they had too much roll side to side. To be fair, I had this same problem with a previous pair of walking shoes with the ‘air cushion’ type of sole. They were comfortable but not stable enough.

I’VE OWNED THESE SHOES FOR THREE WEEKS AND I WALK WITH THEM ALMOST EVERY DAY AND THEY STILL FEEL STIFF. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MEDIUM BUT THESE SHOES ARE VERY NARROW AND CRAMP MY FEET. DEFINITELY NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for several years and have found that Reebok DMX Max walking shoes are the only ones that I can wear all day without getting sore feet. They are difficult to find in retail stores, but can be found through Amazon. The name is changed regularly, but If it has the air cushion and leather upper, there is little difference in performance.

I have been wearing Reebok DMX Max shoes for many years now. They saved my feet. Years ago, I was having so much trouble walking, I could hardly walk across a parking lot. I even went to my doctor who proscribed heel inserts (that didn’t work). Within a week of wearing these shoes, my feet were markedly better. Now that I have been wearing these shoes for so long, I never have trouble with my feet. Yes, they can get tired from too much walking, but they never have the debilitating pain that I used to get from normal shoes. If you have foot problems buy this shoe.

This purchase was actually an attempt to purchase this shoe model before Reebok replaced it with something else, as athletic shoe companies are notorious for doing. This past year, I developed plantar fasciitas and a heel spur so my running days were over for a while. I needed to switch (eventually after 9 months) to a walking routine and needed a comfortable “walking” shoe as opposed to a “running” shoe. I came across this model and it was absolutely the most comfortable athletic shoe that I’ve ever put on my feet! It has an extraordinary impact distribution. Wearing these shoes I not only don’t feel that strong heel impact, but it supports my high arch as well, thereby creating the feeling of walking on air! I’ve been using athletic shoes for 30 years and this is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. I’d wear them to work if I could. Act quickly though….if you can find them, BUY them before Reebok replaces them.
