These are well made and comfy. I wore them for the entire day when they arrived thinking I would just wear them for an hour or so to start breaking them in… They were so comfortable I forgot about them until I was getting undressed for bed. Re-enforced seams in many places, and nice joining of upper to sole. I bought them to work in, climbing ladders and walking on rafters… They have a very sleek profile which helps to avoid snagging cables and such unlike most work shoes which have a lot of sole beyond the edge of the uppers. Soles are nicely rigid for rocks or ladder rungs. I wore them in the snow today and they are indeed waterproof and snug. I’m very happy with them. They may be just a tiny bit more narrow than most 12M ’s but not much.
